-
Start by talking to your friends, family members, teachers, etc. about what that means to them.

The judges are volunteers from the local Arvada community and unrelated to any students in the competition. Past judges have been Artists, piano teachers, local photographers, musicians, and librarians.

About the PTA Reflections Art Competition:
Every year students from Sierra participate in the Colorado PTA Art competition "Reflections". Students preK-5 can submit entires in any of the following categories:
-
Visual Arts
-
Dance Choreography
-
Film Production
-
Literature
-
Music Composition
-
Photography
The primary focus of Reflections is a celebration of creativity and the arts and an opportunity for students to reflect and interpret the annual theme in their own creative way. Student artists receive positive recognition at their schools, and finalists move on to their council/region for review and recognition. Finalists then advance to Colorado State PTA, where Gold Award winners then advance to the National PTA round for judging.
