Thanks for supporting Google Summit!

At our September PTA meeting, we voted to fund some of our teachers' participation in Google Summit for ongoing training, and our teachers are raving about the experience! Here's a note from Ms. Elkins:

PTA/Members: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

For sending us to the Google EdTech Summit this past weekend in Erie, CO.  Your contributions and commitment to our technology PD has already benefited both the staff and the students at Sierra.  The amount of learning and ah-ha! moments that took place were unbelievable. I have already created “Choose Your Own Adventure” lessons for the upcoming science unit, used gifs in the classroom to help students with repeated directions, and engaged students in ways that I would have never learned about otherwise.  Again, thank you PTA and thank you to all of the families contributing to PTA for making last weekend possible. It truly is a life and teacher-changing experience. I appreciate you all!
